What is Methoxetamine (MXE) ?

Methoxetamine (MXE) is an arylcyclohexylamine.It acts mainly as a selective NMDA receptor antagonist, similarly to other arylcyclohexylamines like ketamine and PCP.

Methoxetamine (MXE) is a result of rational drug design, its N-ethyl group was selected to increase potency, lessen risk of interstitial cystitis caused from the accumulation of ketamine-like metabolites in the urinary bladder.
